With over 17 years in the South African industry in various roles, Emmy Award Nominated Casting Director, Richard, has an intimate understanding of the South African industry, artists, and the casting landscape in SA
Richard has been at home in the casting studio since 2005. Working as a reader, assistant and associate, learning from some of the best casting directors locally and abroad, in commercials, television and film. He now specializes in long form, television and Film.
SHELLEY LOTHIAN
With over 20 years experience in the theatre and film industry wearing multiple hats Shelley works along side Richard as a studio director and associate, and assists with all administrative needs of the company.
She also has years of experience as an acting and dialect coach and holds workshops and courses to help artists hone their on camera skills.

Studio
We are partnered with CastServe. A world class studio based in Observatory, Cape Town. Just 7 minutes outside of the CBD.

We are a studio that pride ourselves in making a welcoming arena for actors to do their best work. A professional and safe work space for producers and directors to work with talent, and as technically current as we need to be in the ever changing world of casting.
Equipment
We can shoot up to 4K video, but compress footage as we shoot to ensure we can deliver auditions timeously and on whatever platform is best for your needs. Our sound treated room coupled with a shotgun microphone provides us with very good sound quality, and a lighting rig designed by one of the best DOP's in the country, Digby Young
Remote Auditions
We are fully equipped to run remote auditions. Directors and producers can dial in via Zoom and our in-studio webcam is positioned to give you a replica camera view of the auditions. Actors and directors are also able to fully communicate throughout the audition.
